How it works

1

Open the map

A night-lit 3D map of Tuscaloosa with every venue on it. No account, no location permission, no waiting.

2

See who's out

Each venue shows a live crowd level from people reporting in the last hour. Tap one for what's on tonight.

3

Report it yourself

One tap says whether it's quiet, active, busy or packed. That's the whole thing — everyone's reports are what make it work.

For venues

Post your nights, keep your details right, and show up where people are already deciding where to go. Pulse is built for Tuscaloosa specifically — the Strip, downtown, and game days.

Venue accounts are set up by us rather than self-serve, so we can make sure the right person is managing the right bar.

About

Pulse Tuscaloosa is built and operated by Skinner Investments LLC, a company based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We build local software for the places we actually go — this one started because deciding where to go out on a Friday meant guessing, driving, and guessing again.

The app is free for anyone going out. Venues pay for a listing they control and for promoted placement; nothing a venue pays for changes the crowd levels other people see. Crowd data comes from the people in the room, and the app says so plainly wherever it is thin.
